Karina has a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities a small business can face, as her own career has taken her through corporate offices, high street retailers and home-based ventures. Karina also understands the balancing act a small business requires when you’re trying to grow your business whilst raising a family, working a secondary (bill paying) job, or attending further education – again, because of her real life experiences.
She began in banking, where she studied Business Management and Marketing, before launching her first business from home, with three children under that same roof. This entrepreneurial journey has rooted Karina’s skills and mentoring approach into one that empowers small business owners with actionable strategies, hands-on support, and advice grounded in the real world.
Her business acumen has been recognised several times over the years, with accomplishments such as Kent Women in Business Award for Professional Achievement, and awards such as Best Client Service Award from The Celebrant Industry Awards, 2021.
